معاون وزیر امور خارجه سریلانکا اعلام کرد که در حمله اژدر زیردریایی آمریکایی به ناوچه نیروی دریایی ایران IRIS Dana در سواحل سریلانکا، حداقل ۸۰ نفر کشته شدهاند.

ناوچه نیروی دریایی ایران، آیریس دنا، پس از حمله هوایی منتسب به آمریکا، در سواحل سریلانکا غرق شد و نیروهای سریلانکا کشتیها و هواپیماهای خود را برای نجات ۳۰ ملوان این ناوچه مستقر کردند.
